Why a buyer meets it indirectly

Broadsign's core product is the content management system media owners run their screens on: scheduling, loops, playback, proof-of-play logs Broadsign 2026. Its Reach SSP exposes those screens to programmatic demand. When your DSP bids on a screen that runs Broadsign, your money crosses Reach whether you ever heard the name or not: one more take-rate hop, unpublished like the rest.

When the CMS layer actually matters to you

Fee-stack placement

Buyer to DSP to SSP (Reach) to owner CMS to screen: that is the pipe. Fees at each hop are quote-only, and this is one hop you cannot negotiate directly since the owner picked the CMS, not you. What you can do: know the stack exists and demand the all-in working-media line in writing (route math, pDOOH mechanics). Peer SSP: Place Exchange.
